Entire foundations don’t often fail all at once. More times than not, a home will have one area, or perhaps one side which has failed or settled, yet the rest of the home is in relatively good shape. Other times, the house is needing foundation upgrades for additions or remodeling which adds weight and changes the original design.
For these projects, we retrofit, add onto, or reinforce the existing system to restore stability and re-level the structure above. This type of repair is common in older homes or ones that did not follow conventional building techniques and codes.
Structural repair, renovation, or retrofitting often includes replacing, reinforcing, and improving foundation members such as beams, rafters, collars, columns, headers, joists, concrete footings, etc. Additionally, if the soil is not adequate to support a traditional foundation, we will install a deep foundation. To do this, we utilized steel Helical Piers or sometimes called Helical Piles, Screw Piles.
